Why go solar besides the fact that it's the cleanest, most renewable energy source available?

The sun is the ultimate source of all of the energy sources and fuels on earth. It is so great that the amount of sunlight that strikes the earth's surface in an hour can deliver enough energy to power the world for an entire year.

Clearly, we have a source of virtually limitless clean energy in the form of solar power (the sun won't die for the next 5 billion years). We're not just capturing it.

And even cloudy places or cities produce solar power too. In its standard condition, the maximum possible output of a solar power system is 750-kilowatt hours per year in a cloudy climate. This translates to energy that could lit up over 1, 200 light bulbs for an hour.

Meanwhile, the maximum possible output of a solar power system in a sunny climate is 1,600-kilowatt hours per year.

Although sunlight is available only between 7 to 8 hours a day, a solar power system can still produce electricity for the entire day if combined with batteries that can store solar energy. Essentially, batteries are crucial to storing the incredible amounts of sun's energy that are constantly hitting the planet so we can use it during night time.

There's a vast untapped potential for solar rooftops in the country, and the rest of the world. Solaready PH is optimistic that soon enough thousands of roofs nationwide will harness the unlimited, free energy from the sun.
